sterling silver
Madeleine began her career as a fibre artist. Her work was commissioned by organizations such as BC Tel, the Bank of Montreal, and Dominion Construction. In 1981, she branched into jewelry making. Two years later, she opened her studio shop ‘Neat Things’ in West Vancouver. In 1995, Madeleine closed the shop and now works in her home workshop employing two helpers one day a week.
Madeleine’s jewelry collection includes bracelets, pins, earrings, and necklaces. These items are all hand-crafted in sterling silver. Christmas ornaments and pins consist of handmade glass on copper enamel. The pins are painted with powdered glass and fired in a kiln.
