Meghan McCrone attended the Capilano College and UBC Fine Art Programs before transferring to Emily Carr University of Art and Design and studying for an additional 3 years. During her last semester, and again after graduation, she apprenticed with potter Vincent Massey in Whistler B.C. During their work together they constructed a salt fire kiln which they still fire together, creating small batch salt-fired collections a few times a year. Meghan has exhibited her work in several shows, galleries, and markets in the Lower Mainland and Sea to Sky corridor. She is currently working as the Handwork/Art Teacher at the Squamish Waldorf School and is happily potting and teaching monthly workshops in her home studio in Brackendale.
