This work was created in collaboration with Elliott Reese. Using improvisation and play they collaborated to create works of whimsy. These works celebrate colour, form, and texture. Beginning with a sketch and fabric selection from Elliott, Jennie would then cut out the fabric and instruct Elliott on sewing them together by machine. Jennie would then add acrylic paint, surface design stitch and hand quilting to enhance the designs. The final step was Elliott choosing titles for each work pulled from his imagination. In total they created 12 quilts, one for each month.

The collection of quilts was exhibited in "Spaces Between" at the Richmond County Historical Society in Richmond, QC from July to August 2022.

Care Instructions: Do not hang in direct sunlight. Remove dust with clean, soft, dry brush or brush vacuum attachment.
