This stunning pendant hangs from a sterling snake chain. The Marrakesh Pendant is part of the Marrakesh series which has proven to be my most popular collection. Intricate and lacy on the front, open to a beautiful oxidized dome on the back, then brushed with a matte finish on the exterior. The colours achieved with oxidization are truly remarkable - blues, purples and pinks.
Care instructions: The colourful oxidization on the interior is a delicate patina and should not be cleaned, polished, or worn in the shower. The colour will last years if the jewellery is kept properly!
Nina Turczyn graduated with a degree in Design from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design after a circuitous path through Sheridan College where she studied Illustration, and the Canadian Opera Company where she studied Special Effects Makeup. Brought up in Ontario by an Architect father, who is also a painter, and a Silversmith mother, Nina was introduced to a merging of design and craft at an early age. In 2007, Nina started Paprika Design, a freelance graphic design and illustration business on Gabriola Island which also includes her silversmithing, the most recent addition to her repertoire of artistic mediums.
