Monika Lisa Beal has been living on Cortes Island BC for the past 18 years. She enjoys exploring “craftwomanship" via various mediums such as clay, plant/paper pulp, natural fibres, feathers, gemstones and seashells. Her inspiration comes from her love of nature, natural design, ceremonial living, motherhood, creation myths & storytelling. Monika Lisa Creations include ceramic vessels & planters, handmade paper, beaded gemstone jewelry, creation dolls, and commissioned art collages.
